ftboj part II, part I

Ok, that's a cryptic title I'll admit, but I'm hoping the person I wrote it for gets it in a "Now Alf" kind of way. So I haven't updated in a while. This is mostly because I have started keeping a private log and not because I have given up on Livejournal in any way. Once obsessed always obsessed is my golden rule. Did you hear that Kevin Conway (aka my first grade crush)? So I don't want to go into specifics of the months so much but I'll say that I did just get back from Vegas. It went well, though not as well as my first trip. Does it make me low class to love Fremount possibly more than I love the strip? Because I may just have to settle for low class. Anyway, I did get a chance to hang out with Mike and Ashley which was awesome, and I did manage to get away with an entire night of drinking, two clubs, and a casino all for the incredibly low price of six dollars. No joke, no mal.

Also, I've taken to going to the grocery store for lunch. For 2 bucks I can get a couple slices of pepper turkey, a couple slices of provolone, and a bakery roll. Then just construct your own sandwich and enjoy. I do this because if I order in larger quantities I risk tiring of the ingredients and then having the food go bad, for which I will not stand. Anyway, I love it, but it's embarassing to have to ask the counter ladies for that tiny quantity of food. They end up getting this huge block of meat and cheese out to cut a small fraction of a pound. However, my favorite thing about this whole process is that the deli ladies seem to be just clueless when it comes to the actual fractions. The first time I asked for a fifth of a pound the woman just kind of stared and then I said, it's a little less than a fourth and someone else spoke up behind me and said "It's .2 on the scale." I swear the woman had a look of pride on her face when she handed me a third of a pound. Today I asked the woman for a fifth and she didn't even question what that was and then gave me a tenth of a pound. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if these women are giving me a big screw you for making them go through all that for what appears to be nothing, but still it's kind of entertaining in the human behavior realm. I think from now I'll just start requesting the number of slices I want instead though.

Mountain Taco!

It's the fourth of July update! So I headed to Ignacio to meet Robb's family. It was quite amazing. We took the car to get serviced on Wednesday morning and then made the trip from southern California to Ignacio Colorado. Ignacio is close to New Mexico so it was ONLY 13 hours :). Actually the drive wasn't too bad. We got in at 2 in the morning (1 CA time.) In the morning we saw the lay of the land. And when I say that I mean it. His Grandma and Uncle lived right next to the mountains with this sprawling green pasture and stream on their property. It was beyond words gorgeous. Pictures should be up on facebook at some point. So since the rest of his family wasn't going to be there til Thursday night we took the extra time to go to Durango. Cute mountain town with nice shops/eateries/downtown area. I got a t-shirt there which I was so excited about that I wore as soon as I got out of the store. And yes I know how lame it is to wear a t-shirt of a town whilst you're in the town. I so don't care. So we chilled with his family for the rest of the night and then went to bed. By the way, I haven't been in a tent in the better part of two decades. And I remember very clearly as to why. Don't get me wrong, it got better as the time went on but it was bad that first night. So I got to go horse back riding the next afternoon and then we went bowling at the casino. So then we hung out with his family for most of the next two days. I have to say that his nephews are absolutely adorable. The rest of his family was really nice too. So on Sunday we went to Ouray. Which apparently we just had to see. It's the "Little Switzerland." I've never been to Switzerland but I can't imagine a more picturesque place than Ouray. We saw some cool singers, and went to the Cascade waterfall. If you've never seen a picture of this place, you really should get on that. We left yesterday morning. Early. The drive really wasn't that bad. Getting back was nice in it's own way, but mostly I didn't quite want to leave. So that was my fourth. Hope everyone else had as nice a time (or better)!

I know someday you'll have a beautiful life, I know you'll be a sun. In somebody else's sky

So it's been a little while. I went to Cleveland a couple weeks ago which did not go quite as well as the holidays. I did get to see Morgan, which was incredible. I got to go see Jess, which I very much enjoyed. My Uncle Mike got really drunk at the Boneyard which was pretty funny. At one point he told me "I'm so glad my dad married your mom!" Except for his dad didn't marry my mom. His brother did. Also, he tried to give me his car when I drove him home. But I guess it's probably better I didn't take it. Mostly. Anyway in the past couple of months, I also got to go ATV'ing here which was a lot of fun, as well as see Kings X for the third time, go on multiple hikes, learn how to cook jumbalaya, went to Temecula to see the wineries, went to TWO casinos, went dancing, went to Six Flags, and a whole bunch of other random stuff. Some other observations I've made in these two months include loving Ikea's swedish meatballs, developing a close relationship with euchre, and idolizing David Sedaris. End scene.

Catch 22

I can't finish this book. I know I should love it. I know it's my kind of humor. But I can't finish it...I've picked it up about a dozen times and I can't finish it. I mean a guy declares war on adverbs, and I can't find the reason to keep going in this thing? It's beyond all comprehension. It should be exactly the thing I like.

Also I think that a birthmark in the shape of Manute Bol would be hilarious.

A gramme is better than a damn

Quoting Huxley is a means to get more culture into your life. That being said I fully acknowledge that the vast majority of people who have access and any inclination to read this thing at all are infinitely more cultured than I am.

Anyway...I have been continuing to cook (go hobbies) and I have been doing everything I can to start things and finish them. The bane of my existance if you will. And I bet you will. I finished Undaunted Courage (which was a literary trek let me tell you) and Rabbit, Run in honor of Updike's recent passing. I have been continuing to sponge off the OH trip in terms of friends but I still miss Morgan like crazy. I got a bike, which has just been incredible for going to the beach with and to the strip with. This past weekend I went to this cool breakfast place called the Sugar Shack with it and had amazing french toast. Good times. Also, I'm thinking about running a 5k...and I hate running. But I'm still having a hard time keeping up a regimented tennis schedule and running is at least something that I can do that doesn't require coordination of schedules. That being said, it was 80 degrees here over the weekend and it felt great. Southern California is awesome every time of the year, but most often is January and February. I have chosen to update about the better things, in case it sound like I'm bragging.

I'm looking in on the good life I might be doomed never to find

The start of my first post of '09 will decree that the Shins song of which I get the title of this entry is amazing.
Holidays were good. That might be the first time I've ever said that. I guess seeing my family only once a year isn't the worst way to do it. Though I have to admit it was strange being back. I forgot the name for Cedar. Granted I had just had a day of hell sitting in LAX three days before Christmas. I have had mostly good experiences at airports, but not this time...this time it was like getting my teeth pulled with no novocaine. Plus it was raining in LA, one of the three times it rains in LA ever and I had to be getting to the airport with wet socks because I stepped in the same puddle twice. But you gotta hand it to me for sheer stupidity. What surprised me most about the holidays was that I got to see every single person that I set out to see. I did miss a couple of people that I had vague hopes of hanging out with but I've reconciled to just try for next time. I was thinking that everyone would make plans with me and then bail out just because the holidays are just so frantic for everyone. But they didn't, and it was awesome. The worst thing was that when Morgan came up to see me she eventually had to leave. And her and I had, what I believed to be our best talk ever the night before she left, so I was tempted to just kidnap her at that point since she seemed dead set on going back to her family. She was with me to ring in the new year though, so I know I shouldn't be complaining. Family was good too, I got a chance to sleep in my old room, in my sister's room, in my parent's room, and the ever popular couch. I also got to do a ton of crosswords. And it's always fun to do crosswords in exotic locales like Cleveland. At one point, about a third of my family all decided to get together at the Sea Bar (or something like that...C-Bar, Cee Bar, I don't know) and oh man was it awesome. I don't remember the name of the band but they were amazing. And it was just this dive bar on the west side. But they sounded better than half the bands that actually performed the real songs. They did all the classics and they had most of the place on their feet and dancing. Everyone was smiling, and I haven't seen an entire crowd get that into something for a long, long time. I haven't seen anything like that out here in CA which is sad for me. I was tempted to ask the band if they would come to southern CA. And I ate everything in sight. The food there is just heads and shoulders over anything here. Which brings me to my next hobby I have been somewhat pursuing: cooking. So far I have made a whole bunch of relatively simple meals. And anyone who knows me knows I never ever cook. It's a habit/interest I hope to keep up so crossing of fingers. And I'm going to stop here.

When every lie speaks the language of love, it never held the meaning I was thinking of

1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
I moved to Orange County.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I did, my resolution was to move and I did. And no, none for this year.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
A couple of my cousins did...Kim and someone else I think.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No
5. What countries did you visit?
None (I saw Mexico though, however I did not go in)
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
Security. Not the financial term.
7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
January 14...the day that I left.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Living in amazing weather for almost a year.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Trusting certain people.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I was sick right before I left for here, ear infection.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Any papers that had the xword in them.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Robb's, Chris', Morgan's, and Ace's
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Chris'
14. Where did most of your money go?
housing
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
All the trips I took.
16. What song will always remind you of 2008?
I Kissed A Girl and I Liked it
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a. Happier or sadder? happier
b. Thinner or fatter? probably the same
c. Richer or poorer? poorer
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Made more effort to make my mother's sauce.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Lamented.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
In Cleveland.
21. Is there a question missing?
No
22. Did you fall in love in 2008?
I'm not interested in your existential questions, Mr. Survey I've done since 2003.
23. How many one-night stands?
None
24. What was your favorite TV program?
HEROES!!!!
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Yes
26. What was the best book you read?
Freakonomics
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Decemberists
28. What did you want and get?
Pajamas
29. What did you want and not get?
A million dollars.
30. What was your favorite film of this year?
In Bruges
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
SD Zoo, 25.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Staying friends Chris
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
Wear more shorts...BECAUSE I CAN!!
34. What kept you sane?
8 Letters, and baths
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Milo Ventimiglia
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Sarah Palin, hate her.
37. Who did you miss? (in no particular order)
lots and lots and lots of people
38. Who was the best new person you met?
Robb
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008:
Nothing that can't be summed up in all conventional knowledge.
40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
"That's a real conversation for your ass."

Sand blew in my eyes

So, for Thanksgiving we went to San Diego to visit some friends and hang out and it was awesome. I met this girl who worked for Shotime and totally knew someone who knew Mary Louise Parker because they worked on Weeds! Ok, I realize that's kind of like my best friends friends hair dresser's former college roommate, but I don't care. It was awesome to me. I also got everyone to play Taboo, which was a great success, and this cool game called Orijinz rounded out the evening. Also, we got to somewhat capitalize off black Friday by hitting up outlet stores at the Tiajuana border. Good stuff. Movies and drinking and dinner and fun to follow the shopping. And now...
*I'm moving. Seriously, this should be just a standard starred point for me. I'm moving all the time. Hopefully it's just down the street but even still...
*My job is kind of cool in so much that the time flies by and I'm having fun. But I'm not getting paid anything. And I'm working with morons, and I'm vastly, vastly not living up to my potential. But southern California right now for jobs just looks so barren.
*I'm sort of starting to get into reading new stuff. I just finished Freakonomics, which was excellent and Lullaby, which wasn't too bad. I could use other stuff but I'm getting so much more picky about what I read. I do hang my head in shame for the fact that I'm considereing investing in the Twilight series. But I lift it somewhat because Morgan recommended it to me and I respect her opinion.
*I just started watching Heroes, and am done with the first and second season. Seriously I've barely slept trying to watch this stuff. I have this problem where I think I know everyone in the show though. Like that I've seen them in thousands of other movies and tv shows. But no, most people I've not seen in anything familiar to me.

Hmmm I can't remember when some of this stuff happened...I might have technically needed to list some of these in my Sept entry:
I came close up to a whole bunch of sea lions. Screw you San Diego zoo, I have a bay and a kayak and you can kiss my ass!
I'm planning to vote in my very first election ever. I was even persuaded to vote for more than one thing.
I love Netflix and it's instant watching features.
I'm loving the local talent of Newport Beach (do you have any idea how many decent singers there are in this state?)
I was not so much in love with this past Halloween weekend. But I'll still keep it ranked up there as my favorite holiday.
I am going home for the actual holidays that are coming up in the winter (so if you're going to be around give me some sort of figurative holler.)
Morgan's coming up to Cleveland for New Year's and that's also going to rock (and I say congrats on getting a license Morgan, publicly.)

Not lumber you loser!

So I filled this out a while ago and then didn't post it. I'll make this an lj cut when I finally get around to it so that those who might not want to be burdened by said long as surveys (Who remembers I love surveys btw?) But I gotta get my fix in for starred points...The hunger consumes my very being. One day I will tire of starred points. But that day has not arrived.
*I have seen Revolver twice. Not sene. It was a good movie but I gotta tell you sort of overestimated the intelligence of it's viewer...Ok, ok sort of overestimated the intelligence of me...happy now?
*I love hot tubs.
*A LOT.
*I am a huge fan of The Fountainhead...though this should not surprise anyone.
*I defer to my original opinions...on everything.
*The desert gets cold at night...really, really cold at night.
*I really miss Morgan.
*Also TV.

Who remembers I love surveys...

1.
Make an assessment

*So...Vegas and San Fran didn't quite happen...but I won't complain with the substitution of Portland, Salem, Tacoma, Seattle, Sacramento, Columbia Gorge, etc...
*Great trip...too much driving though.
*I am the greatest at ERS, pool, darts, speed, gin, and...being competitive.
*I MISSED THE LAST SHOW OF GREASY KIDS STUFF...at least the last show in Cleveland. Sad, I was in Oregon with my phone dead at the time when it happened (and I was on the moon, with Steve.) Bye, bye Thursday/Saturday afternoon tradition.
*I got to see a taping of Leno AND watch the Indians trounce the Angels...all in one day. I am not sad to say that Chris and I were not the only Indians fans at the stadium.
Addendum:Ok so it turns out the Indians actually lost...we were up 4 to 2 in the top of the ninth, but then the Angels came back to win. So we weren't there to SEE them lose...so it's all good.

Temporarily pacify this hungering

This weekend was amazing. Ace came in from Cleveland to hang out and do interviews and such. I got into LA on Thursday morning and didn't come back til Sunday night. Good times. We watched movies and went to cool restaurants, and went to Knotts Berry. Which I have to tell you, while owned by Cedar Point, is not Cedar Point. But it was fun though and made me miss having season passed to amusement parks. I rode this one roller coaster called Sidewinder and while terrified in all ways, actually managed to come off it thinking I might ride it again. Still couldn't accomplish lifting my hands in the air for it though. We also got to see kareoke which was great (though nothing like the Hi-Fi). Mostly it was just a lot of hanging out. It was sad that I only got to do one crossword with him while he was here but c'est la vie. Other than that, things are going ok. Chris keeps coming up with the craziest videos to watch and Stacy just keeps going on crusades to help me make decisions that don't completely fuck myself over (thanks Stacy.) And Doris got me LOTS of attention yesterday...which I can't quite figure out if it's a good thing or a bad thing.

Having an existential crisis about whether or not to do starred points in this entry...this is basically the story of my entire life. But oh yeah...it's happening.
*Joy, pain, sunshine, rain.
*Stacy and Levi are getting married. Do I smell an opportunity to be in the party? Are they reading this right now and taking the hint? Did I leave this up on their computer so that they might see it? Did I change their home page to this entry so that they can see it everytime they go to the computer? Am I shameless? You decide.
*Are you going to San Francisco? Looks like...
*Are you going to Las Vegas? Most definitely. Yeah March.
*Second time's a charm for LA?
*Third times a charm for other things?
*Fourth times a charm for other other things?
*Balboa Island rocks.
*Delora writes the best shift notes ever.
*Ace is coming...it looks like...yea!!!
*Le Diplomate....much better than Lee's
*NO MCDONALDS HERE. This sounds like a joke...who has a tough time finding a McDonalds? I'll tell you who. Me. And Chris. Two hours of looking and nothing. Sad. No McNuggets for me.

When I was a child I had a fever

Though I don't really know what it's like to have my hands feel like two balloons.
Speaking of balloons there's a free hot air balloon ride that you can take here if you wanted to.
Here is somewhat akin to other places I've been to...Cleveland has a hold on me but not the one I'm used to. I'm interested in specific things...things that are very very hard to answer. The confusion and the transitions and the restlessness abound and I'm really fucking sick of it. I will never want what I can have. I miss everything about my life three years ago. At least I was dealing with stuff...Of course I had everyone around me to support that so I suppose that's the difference. Are you laughing at me little girl? Do you think my pain is funny? Because it is.
*Why do you look so confused?
*Hooray!

Patience is like bread I say, I ran out of that yesterday

Most won't see the title and infer that I went to see the Lemonheads, but if you did-then good for you. Find a cookie.
I'm done with my undergraduate career...I am a graduate of Case Western Reserve University...I'd have more pride if it hadn't taken me 7 thousand years to finish. But at least it's done-today was my last final.
Morgan's coming to see me tomorrow...less than 12 hours...I'm so excited.
I love soup.
I want to move.
Lies do nothing but destroy (on the whole.)
And with that...
1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
I saw the Lemonheads, I got a subscription to Cosmo, I graduated college.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Not really...my resolution is to move.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Kristen gave birth to Austin, but that's about it.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No
5. What countries did you visit?
None
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
Lots of friends, and a place I'm somewhat settled in.
7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Not sure...
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Graduating
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not graduating earlier.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Not really
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Hmmm...all the soup I got from Einsteins
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Morgan and Ace's
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
My sister's
14. Where did most of your money go?
All kinds of stuff
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
All kinds of stuff
16. What song will always remind you of 2007?
Hmmm...maybe Kathy's song.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a. Happier or sadder? sadder
b. Thinner or fatter? probably the same
c. Richer or poorer? poorer
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Worked
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Felt terrible
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
At home with my family, at my cousin's and at home here in Little Italy.
21. Is there a question missing?
No
22. Did you fall in love in 2007?
No
23. How many one-night stands?
None.
24. What was your favorite TV program?
Weeds
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Yes
26. What was the best book you read?
Not a lot of good books out there for me lately...I've been picky
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Don't know.
28. What did you want and get?
Someone to hang out with Nov 2 and graduation
29. What did you want and not get?
Probably everything else.
30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Ratatoulle
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
Went to Morton's-24
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Too painful to even write about
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
Not too much of one actually...more incorporation of dresses and skirts though
34. What kept you sane?
Not sure anything kept me sane.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Not a big fancier
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Nothing
37. Who did you miss? (in no particular order)
Too many people.
38. Who was the best new person you met?
Kristina
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2007:
Too depressing to write about.
40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
"They're both totally void of hate but killing me just the same."

Considerately killing me

All right first entry that references something in a while. You were all holding your breath-don't lie. So let's see what is new...starred points aren't new...but here you go anyway!
*Saw Wristcutters-very good movie...and very funny despite name.
*Weeds rocks my proverbial socks-as I am not wearing any socks.
*I swear I have done more than watch things on screens.
*I had lamb and duck and it was so good-the lamb was for the first time ever.
*The Rubix cube party didn't quite live up to last time.
*I was an after hours person for a whole...two days!
*Spicy chicken from einstein's-the most disgusting thing ever.
*Chris and Morgan leaving may have been the worst things that have ever happened to me...wish I had known that sooner.
*I'm not working on school at all.
*My job is not the sweetest thing ever.
*I missed Black Friday this year.
*Can't remember the last time I had dinner with my family for Thanksgiving...but I did and it was...the same.
*Morton's-best steak so far I've ever had.
*What'd you do? It was a productive day actually.
*It is far too cold.
*I fell into a burning RING of fire.
*I'm happy for you, salad man.
*All right too much crypticness back to real update.
Mostly I've been on a roller coaster, my last semester holding me to Cleveland has been the biggest thing overall that has led to this. I miss my friends like crazy. I have never realized what they meant to me...lame for me. But I guess I got mine in the end. I'm ready to...not be free...that's not the right word...I guess free from school. It won't necessarily make things easier but it will afford me a few more (rational)choices. I've been so scared lately of everything but I think all of my activities were focused on me crying out for help. Things feel slightly better and I hope they stay that way. The great travesty of life is that no matter how bad things seem they can (almost) always get worse.

Never found out why you left him,
but this answer begs a question,
Too blind to see tomorrow,
too broke to beg or borrow.
Young and Stupid, left wide open
Hearts are wasted, lives are broken
One more point of contention,
I need some intervention
Approaching failing tensions,
betray my short attention span
The distance, bridge the border
Beg forgiveness, round the corner
Everytime I look for you the sun goes down
And I stumble when this whole thing runs aground
I left another message, you are never around
But everytime I look for you the sun goes down once more
Will the last one out, please shut the door
More time apart will give you,
a few more months to argue
Is this to much to live through,
it always seems to far to drive
The point home, send more letters
Pray tomorrow, ends up better
Everytime I look for you the sun goes down
And I stumble when this whole thing runs aground
I left another message, you are never around
But everytime I look for you the sun goes down once more
Will the last one out, please shut the door
I never did do anything that she asked,
I never let what happened, stay in the past
I never did quite understand what she meant,
In spite of everything, in spite of everything
Everytime I look for you the sun goes down
And I stumble when this whole thing runs aground
I left another message, you are never around
But everytime I look for you the sun goes down
And I stumble when this whole thing runs aground
I left another message, you are never around
but everytime I look for you the sun goes down

Didn't you get the memo?

Aah, another wedding. Not without it's accompanying feelings of supreme highs and lows. So my brakes on my truck decided they were done with the whole functioning thing. Just not for them. My mother let me borrow her car to go to Columbus where the wedding was. Back story would take forever but I got caught in traffic for absolutely nothing, and then got angry and just decided to get out of traffic. 4 hours later I finally get to Columbus to see Morgan, and it was totally her birthday so we went to BW3 and ate some food, and then at 1 I picked up Chris from the airport. So we drove back to his hotel to hang out. Chris' brother passed out early and we went to purchase some items from the mini-bar. Then things got really fun :). Finally we all tuckered out and went to bed. At 9 we went to breakfast and I had a giant meal (if you count two pieces of bacon and a tiny doughnut giant). Then we went to go shopping at a closed out mall. So Chris' family and I went to another mall which was very good. Got Chick-fil-A, and then we went to the pool in the hotel. With wine :). Then I got ready and headed to the wedding. Ceremony was beautiful...bride was a little cookie cutter. But I only say that because she was perfect and happy and I need to find some way to cut down someone I'm so jealous of I can barely breathe. We started drinking early so I was feeling a healthy buzz during dinner. Then I slowed down a bit once the dancing started. Music could have been a hair better, but Chris and I got to swing dance. It was great! Slow dancing was good too. Then the possibility of a strip club was opened up and I was all over that. So we went to this vintage style directly after the wedding but didn't stay too long. Then we went to the strip club and what happens at a strip club stays at a strip club. Then at right around 3:45 am I decided to drive back. I'm more awake at night then I am during the morning. Always have been, not that some people could understand that. Drive home was only bad because I thought I heard someone groan in the back of my trunk, but that was just my imagination. Made it home, crashed. We went to nighttown last night for dinner and then we went to watch 8 Below. Ok, it was a disney movie, and only based on a true story. Wasn't there anyway that they all could have survived. There's my beef. All in all though, I think I came out ahead.

Half man, half dog...I'm my own best friend

So I finished Harry Potter. I was pleased. Very pleased. Once I found out what the Deathly Hallows were I could not put it down. Finally finished at 8 in the morning.
I hate Celebrity Jeopardy...it's just not the same. I'd rather watch the 8-10 year olds play than celebrities. Not quite as bad as "I'll take anal bum for 200 Alex." But close.
Red Bull really does give you wings. I was out last night and wow...three red bulls and I was feeling good.
8 Letters in Search of a Word...It would be tough for a person with pride to swallow owing your continued existence to this game. Luckily I have no such problem.
I'm going to a wedding next week! And I'm seeing Morgan next week!
I'm getting a bit down on one of the only things I like to spend money on...going out to eat. The service and the food just keep going down while the prices just seem to be going up. Actually I'm not too upset about it as it's just another way to save for Europe...which will happen.
Though I wouldn't say no to Asia.

I believe that yours says etch-a-sketch on the side

Ha I saw Weird Al...second time for me...He was totally my first concert EVER. Going to leave him a comment on his myspace page. I'm sure he cares.
Candise may be the only person in the world to laugh at "Mmm good souce of potassium."
Way to use relativity to your advantage...umm...sort of.
I love PF Chang's chicken lo mein.
I started doing Sudoku...I feel badly trying to do it now as my grandpa tried to get me into doing it a year and a half ago...but he sucked at explaining it to me. It's addicting.
Job is going interestingly if nothing else...That's quite an unbiased word to me. Much like the title of this journal...
I know a couple of steps!
I really have very little else to say except I can't wait for school to start. That is more true than anything else, you can disregard the entry from two years ago.

You're naked inside your fears. You can't take back all those years.

Hey did anyone catch that episode with Drew Barrymore on Family Guy? Yeah...I sort of feel like that everyday.
Running away sometimes works for more situations than bad neighborhoods.
I feel like my one lifeline is gone.
I just need a job...a permanent one-I am such a retard.
At least my day off was decent, I got to see Poison...for like the fourth time.
I love cross stitch again. Well, I never actually hated it...just it, along with crossword puzzles, go in and out of style for me.
40 most softsensational soft rock songs is right now possibly winning out over I love the 80s. Nothing tops Best Week Ever though.
5.5 hour walk? Is that so ridiculous?
Oh I am waiting to finish this to let you know what the number one soft rock song is right now. You're on the edge of your seat-don't lie. Christopher Cross-Sailing. Ok, that is the epitome of anticlimatic for me. I Love the 80s still reigns supreme.
